The second beta release of Ubuntu 10.04, code name “Lucid Lynx”, is out and ready for testing. The release announcement is almost an exact copy of the beta 1 announcement, while the release notes are also largely identical except for a few resolved known issues.
Download the live CD images from here (SHA256): ubuntu-10.04-beta2-desktop-i386.iso (696MB, torrent), ubuntu-10.04-beta2-desktop-amd64.iso (698MB, torrent). Also released today were 10.04 beta 2 CD/DVD images for Kubuntu (download, release notes), Xubuntu(download), Edubuntu (download), Mythbuntu (download, release announcement) and Ubuntu Studio (download)
Note: This is a beta release. Do not install it on production machines. The final stable version will be released on April 29, 2010.

Thanks I finally came to a website where the webmaster knows what they’re talking about. Do you know how many results are in Google when I search.. too many! It’s so irritating having to go through page after page after page, wasting my day away with thousands of owners just copying eachother’s articles… bah.
